Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh discussed Thursday with Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Population Fund Dr. Hisham Nahru interventions and projects of the fund in health field.

The meeting reviewed interventions of the fund and its contributions in many fields, including strategies of reproductive health and midwives.

Buhaibeh called upon the fund to adopt necessary support to the National Council for Population and supporting its prime roles in making different population policies to realize its objectives, promoting its capabilities and including it in forthcoming campaigns.
