The Presidential Leadership Council convened a session today, Thursday, presided over by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the presence of the Council's members and Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.
The session intended to discuss the economic developments and the mechanism to carry out the Saudi support agreement with one billion and 200 million USD.
President al-Alimi briefed the Council's members on the outcomes of his meetings and communications with the regional and international key players and the latest developments about the ongoing efforts to revive the peace process.
The Presidential Leadership Council elaborately discussed the Saudi support agreement, its executive mechanism and the economic, financial and structural reforms to make the best of this support in order to alleviate the humanitarian suffering and maintain the stability of the national currency exchange rate.
The Presidential Leadership Council has ordered the government to strictly implement the agreement's articles, devising time lines mechanisms and provide half monthly report about the progress in the implementation and keep on implementing the comprehensive reforms.
The Presidential Leadership Council expressed deep thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Crown Prince, Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their unwavering support for Yemen and the Yemeni people at this critical moment.
