The total value of the quantities received from the Saudi oil grant to operate power stations in the liberated governorates amounted to about $312 million, the percentage paid by the donor is 72%, and the government is 28%.

Today, the seventh batch of the Saudi oil grant, amounting to 60,000 metric tons of diesel, was received at the oil port in the temporary capital Aden to complete the seventh installment.

The Deputy Minister of Electricity, Abdul Hakim Fadel, said: "The Saudi oil grant achieved positive results for many vital sectors, and also contributed to the improvement of the national economy by providing funds and harnessing them for development areas."

For his part, the Undersecretary of Aden Governorate, Muhammad Shazly, reiterated the importance of the great role of the grant in improving basic services, foremost of which is the electricity service, which is the backbone of life.

He stressed the importance of concerted efforts of all to continue the process of reforms and improvement in various service areas and to improve the general conditions of citizens.
