Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik received on Tuesday Russian Ambassador to our country Vladimir Dedoshken.

Dissuasions covered a range of issues of common interests including bilateral ties and cooperation, outcomes of UN-led Sweden's consultations and mechanisms of monitoring to carry out the Agreement about Hodeidah seaport in order to save Hodeidah city any combat military operation.

The Prime Minister underscored the importance of implementing the terms of reference for political solution, above all the International Security Council resolution 2216, to achieve a sustainable peace that can satisfy Yemenis' ambitions for establishing a federal state contributes effectively to regional and international security and stability.

Ma'een praised Russian constructive stance in supporting legality in Yemen as that is the key and only single practical solution to this conflict triggered by militant militia." " Government has been working hard to re-normalize situation, improve economic situations, reinstate services in government-held provinces", Ma'een said.

For his part, the Russian diplomat reiterated his country's support for legitimate Yemeni government, Yemen's unity, security and stability.

He also stated that Russia will contribute to reconstruction efforts through the framework of partnership between the friendly countries and peoples.
