The Prime Minister Salem bin Braik celebrated the robust bilateral relations between the United Kingdom (UK) and the Republic of Yemen, greatly valued the British significant contribution to the humanitarian and development actions in Yemen in different areas, underscoring the importance of London's role in supporting the economic recovery plan and the government's efforts to address the pressing needs in basic services, stop national currency decline.

Brig. Tariq Saleh meets with the Norwegian Ambassador to Yemen

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Brigadier Tariq Saleh received today, Monday, Ambassador of the Norwegian Kingdom to the Republic of Yemen Toms Led Paul.

The session intended to discuss Yemeni-Norwegian bilateral relations, the developments and the humanitarian situation in Yemen, the regional and international efforts to make peace.

Brig. Tariq praised the significant contribution of the Kingdom of Norway to the international efforts aiming to re-establish peace in Yemen, deeply appreciated the Norwegian contribution to the humanitarian actions in Yemen-in general and in the Western Coast in-particular.

The Norwegian Ambassador stated that his government is constantly following the political situation in the Republic of Yemen and it is willing to continue to support the peace efforts and negotiations given that it has long experience in sponsoring political negotiations for decades.

He aslo confirmed Norway's commitment to provide humanitarian aids whether through the UN's agencies or the organizations in relevance.
