Member of Presidential Leadership Council Maj. General Sultan al-Eradah held discussions today, Wednesday, with the Turkish Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Mostafa Polat over bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in different fields.
The conversations dealt with the developments in the Yemeni national arena about the political, economic and humanitarian situations.
Al-Eradadah praised Turkish stances in support of the Yemeni peoples, deeply appreciated Turkey's contribution to the relief and humanitarian actions in Yemen.
The discussions touched upon the UN-led efforts to establish comprehensive and sustainable peace.
The Member of the Presidential Council detailed the Turkish Ambassador on the Presidential Council' efforts aiming to achieve the peace, citing the significant concessions the Presidential Council and the government have offered to support the good offices of the UN's envoy even though the Houthi militias have failed to honor their obligations under the UN-brokered truce agreement and it goes on its military escalations in different governorates.
