President al-Alimi receives al-Ahmar family

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi received Wednesday Member of Parliament Sheikh Hamid al-Ahmar and his brothers, extending his condolences to al-Ahmar's family over the death of Sheikh Sadeq al-Ahmar, who died last week in Amman while receiving treatment.

The family of al-Ahmar expressed thanks to the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council for his feelings and positions towards the family in their painful loss.

President al-Alimi exchanged with them the significant role of the late in national struggle and defending the republican system as a significant figure in the national battle against the Iran-backed new imamate agenda.

The meeting touched upon contribution of late Sheikh Sadeq al-Ahmar and his national role in serving interests of his homeland and people.
