The Republic of Yemen participated today, Monday, in the 46th Conference of the Arab Police and Chiefs of Security held in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi.
Under-Secretary of Interior Ministry for Police and Security Section Maj. General Mohamed al-Amir contributed to the two-day deliberations.
General al-Amir presented an informative report about the police and security services in Yemen, highlighting multiple challenges due to the Iran-backed Terrorist Houthi militias' coup in 2014, citing the efforts of the Police and Security Services to deal with the organized crime, drugs smugglers and the terrorist operatives cells.
