Al-Aghbari discuses with UNDP implementing infrastructure projects

Minister of Local Administration Hussein al-Aghbari discussed Tuesday here with representatives of the UNDP Walid Baharoon, the Deputy Director of the Program, and Fikry al-Muafa, the Coordinator of Economic Component in the Program, level of implementing the developmental projects and infrastructure programs.
In the meeting attended by Deputy Minister for Local Financial Resources and Supply Awadh Mashbah, al-Aghbari confirmed significance of organizing and improving mechanisms of support provided through UN and international organizations and donors aiming of realizing suitable objectives of the conditions in the country.
He pointed out to significance of interventions supporting infrastructure and considering implementation of livelihood projects in accordance with the needed quality and defined scheduled plans to accomplish objectives and adopting transparency principle in implementing developmental projects.
