Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Republic of Austria Haitham Shuja'addin met today, Tuesday, with the Head of the Development and Humanitarian Department at the Austrian Foreign Ministry Peter Hubert.
Shuja'addin briefed the Austrian official on the topical issues in Yemen including underway efforts aiming to extend the UN-brokered truce, Houthi militias' rejection to the UN envoy's proposal to renew the truce, government's support for the UN-led efforts to make peace and the UN's plan to handle Safer Tanker's problem.
The Austrian official confirmed his government's support for the UN-led peace process in Yemen and the humanitarian actions to alleviate the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
