Today, in the temporary capital Aden, Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basohayb, discussed with representatives of the United Nations World Food Program preparations for implementing the Food Security and Livelihood Survey, which will be implemented by the United Nations Program in coordination with the Ministry of Planning.
During the meeting, with the participation of Deputy Minister of Planning for the Projects Sector, Eng. Minister Al-Sharmani, the Assistant Deputy Minister for the International Cooperation Sector Mansour Zaid, the Director General of the Department of Regional and International Organizations in the Ministry, Ahmed Al-Jawi, emphasized the importance of the survey with data and indicators, the inutes to be used in the humanitarian response plan for the next year 2023.
The Deputy Minister of Planning, Dr. Nizar Basohayb, also discussed, in Aden, today, with the Director of Oxfam in Yemen the implementation of the organization's projects in the fields of water and environment.
The meeting, which included the Director-General of the Non-Governmental Organizations Department at the Ministry of Planning, Zuhair Hamid, and the coordinator of humanitarian programs at Oxfam touched on the level of implementation of the organization's projects, most notably completing the strengthening of water wells with a solar energy system in the Habeel Al-Raydah area in Radfan district in Lahj governorate, in addition to projects other environment in Aden.
