Amb. Shuteif briefs senior Omani official on developments in Yemen

Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Sultanate of Oman Khaled bin Shuteif met today, Sunday, with the Head of the Eastern Arab world Department at the Omani Foreign Ministry Hamood al-Hana'i.

Yemeni-Omani bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Yemeni arena was key focus of the conversations.
Bin Shuteif confirmed the Yemeni government's keenness to establish peace and stop war, cooperate constructively with the UN's envoy to Yemen.

He blamed Houthi militias for creating crisis, failing to implement the truce's article including lifting the blockade on Taiz and constantly violate cease-fire agreement.

The Omani official reiterated his country's support for Yemen's unity, security, stability and territorial integrity.

He also expressed Oman's support for the efforts to the end the war and the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
