Marib Dep. Governor calls for greater humanitarian interventions in the province

Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah called on the international humanitarian and relief organizations to increase their activities and interventions in Marib to help the IDPs and refugees.
He launched his calls during his meetings today with the officials from the Norwegian Refugees Council (NRC) and the Dutch Doctors Without Borders organization in Yemen (MFS).
As he met with the education and protection team of the NRC, he asked for greater humanitarian partnership with local authority to respond to the growing needs of the IDPs and refugees who continue to arrive in Marib on daily basis.
In his discussions with the deputy team leader of the Dutch MSF, Dr. Meftah highlighted the need for further interventions in health sector to improve health care services.
