Transport Minister discusses with Aviation Authority, airports technical issues

Minister of Transport Abdulsalam Humaid discussed Tuesday with General Authority for Aviation and Metrology, boosting technical domains between the authority and airports and means of coordination between them.
The meeting discussed rehabilitating Aden International Airport and other airports and problems facing the authority.
Minister Humaid stressed significance of deep-rooted cooperation relations between the authority as master body has many important tasks regarding safety of areal aviation, civil aviation and activities of airports in accordance with national and international rules.
Earlier, Minister of Transport Abdulsalam Humaid presided over a meeting for Yemenia Airline Company discussing with its director and staff the situation of the company.
The meeting discussed elaborating the company's activities and covering new stations to ease transport of citizens from and inside the country, technical situations of the planes and confirmation of regular maintenance of the jets.
