Al-Barakani sends a letter to his Kenyan counterpart

The Charged' Affairs of the Republic of Yemen's embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, Abdussalam al-Awadhi met today with the Kenyan Parliament Speaker Justin Muturi, handed him a letter from the Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Barakani about the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
Al-Awadhi updated Muturi about the political developments Yemen has seen recently namely the creation of a Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) headed by Dr. Rashad al-Alimi.
He also noted the two-month truce suggested by the UN in the hope of paving the way for permanent cease-fire and comprehensive peace.
The Speaker of Kenyan Parliament welcomed the creation of the PLC and power transfer, affirming Kenya's support for the legitimate Yemeni leadership and for peace efforts in Yemen.
