Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah called on the international organizations operate in health domain to double down the efforts to support health sector in Marib.
He stated that health services and staffs are struggling to offer health care and services to more than 2 million and 500 thousand IDPs, besides the hosting community.
Meftah's remarks came during his discussions today here Marib city with the Head of Doctors without Borders Organization Mission (MSF) in Yemen Federica Ferraris.
Federica's visit to Marib aimed to get first-hands information about health sector situations, pressing needs and assess the MSF's interventions in the governorate.
