KSrelief Center's Deminig Project in Yemen managed to extract 1400 of landmines and unexploded ordnances (UXO) in the first week of October 2021.
These landmines planted by Iran-backed Houthi militia's militants in different Yemeni regions.
MASAM reported that it removed 13 anti-personnel, 1110 anti-tanks landmines and 322 UXO and one explosive device.
This brings total number of landmines removed by MASAM up to 280 thousand and 47 landmines.
