Buhaibeh discusses with UN deputy coordinator support to health sector

Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh discussed Monday with UN Resident Deputy Coordinator of Human Affairs in Yemen Digo Zorina health situation and humanitarian interventions to meet needs and facing challenges.
Minister Buhaibeh pointed out that health sector in Yemen has been affected severely by Houthi militia's triggered war and there is need for facing Corona Pandemic, noting that the international organizations have contributed in reviving this sector.
For his part, the UN official confirmed that the UN exerts more efforts for supporting developmental fields in Yemen led by health sector and will continue its pressure on Houthis to allow vaccines enter their areas and will exert efforts with donors to supply quick interventions projects.
