The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

FM appeals to the IC for protecting the Palestinian people

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak called on the International Community (IC) to protect the Palestinian peoples from the Israeli occupation authorities' systematic aggressive polices.
He said" It is time for the International Community (IC), namely the Quartet Committee and the International Security Council (ISC) to act per the International Law rules and the ISC's resolutions in relevance and take essential effective measures to provide the Palestinian people with the necessary protection".
His statement came in his speech he delivered at the extraordinary session of Arab League council at foreign ministers level convened today in Cairo.
He also called on the international influential countries to condemn the Israeli atrocities and illegal practices, mainly displacing the Palestinian from their own areas in the city of al-Quds.
Bin Mubarak reiterated the Republic of Yemen's support for the Palestinian people in their struggle for establishing their own statehood with the East of al-Quds as its capital within the borders of pre-1967.
