The discussions dealt the WFP action-plan in Yemen and aspects of joint coordination and cooperation between the Yemeni government and the WFP.
The conversations also touched upon the outcomes of Yemen Donor Conference 2021 aimed to finance the UN Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen.
The Prime Minister welcomed the WFP's delegation, highly appreciating the key role of the WFP in alleviating the Yemeni peoples' suffering and ensuring food security in Yemen.
Maeen stated that the government is very keen to enhance partnership with the WFP, promising every necessary support to facilitate its mission.
