Planning, public works ministers discuss with UN-Habitat official interventions in Yemen

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Batheeb and Minister of Public Works and Roads Mane' Binyamin discussed Tuesday with the Regional Representative of UN-Habitat Strategic Plan Irfan Ali the program's interventions in field of land and population issues.
In the meeting, which comes on the sidelines of participation of Yemen's delegation in the Second Arab Lands Conference being held here, the two parties discussed contributions of the program in a number of forthcoming projects in fields of construction, reconstruction, sanitation and studies of building housing units.
The meeting touched upon improving capabilities of employees of the public work ministry and exchanging expertise between the program and the ministry.
Minister of planning reviewed the government's vision through the recovery program adopted by the government and its vision for transforming from relief to development activities.
