Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Salem al-Soqatri discussed, today, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Yemen Zeina Ali the UNDP's projects in the agricultural and fisheries sectors.
The discussions covered the progress of work in fisheries sector projects, primarily the rehabilitation of the fishing port in Aden, the fish export center in Hadramout, and the development of unloading centers in several governorates.
They also touched on the agricultural projects, most notably the "Integrated Water Resources Management and Food Security" project in the governorates of Taiz and Lahij, as well as the agricultural exports center and honey market in Hadramout.
