The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh launched Wednesday activities of the Second Conference for Cardiologists.
The conference is organized by Cardiologists Association in Aden.
Participated by 420 cardiologists from across Yemen, the two-day conference discusses 35 work papers on different diagnosis on different types of heart diseases, curing them and best use of diagnosis appliances.
Minister Buhaibeh confirmed significance of the scientific research and improving it for improving health sector, pointing out that the conference is considered a chance for exchanging expertise.
He called for coming out with practical recommendations from the conference to be reported to health leaders and called for boosting joint work in the field of the scientific researches between the ministry and university professors.
For his part, the Head of the Cardiologists Association Mohammad al-Sa'adi reviewed the process of preparing for the conference, praising efforts of the contributing bodies helped in holding the conference.
