Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Mohammad al-Zawari has urged ADRA organization to expand its relief activities to families in need and support as big as number from the very poor people.
In his meeting with Director of Branch Office of ADRA Khaled Abdo on Tuesday, he stressed that the ministry's offices in provinces should monitor the process of supporting poor people and working on monitoring data base as there are hundreds of poor families were not included in the program.
He pointed out to significance of opening headquarters for the organizations, institutions and funds in Aden.
For his part, Abdo reviewed the organization's food and shelter interventions and its role in securing food for 19500 families in Lahj, Abyan and Dhale' and digging 300 wells during the past three years, as well supporting 60 health centers.
He pointed out that implementation of the taken measures by the ministry for coordination with its offices will be carried out in the near future.
