The Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri held talks today, Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the newly appointed Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to the Republic of Yemen Patrick Simmonnet.
They discussed the developments in the Yemeni national scene amid the persistence of the terrorist Houthi militias attacks on the armed forces positions in several fronts.
General al-Daeri highlighted the importance of the international community's support for the Yemeni navy and Coast guard so that they can combat smuggling activities and secure the Yemeni coastlines.
