U.S. Embassy: UN inspection of ships in Yemen does not mean they are safe from U.S. sanctions
The U.S. Embassy in Yemen has stated that the inspection of any vessel by the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism in Yemen (UNVIM) does not mean that it is safe from U.S. sanctions, especially those ships, entities and individuals providing material support to the Houthis.

Al-Sharjabi discusses with German Roza water, sanitation project in Aden

Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi discussed Wednesday with representatives of German organization Roza preparations for implementing Water and Sanitation Project in Aden and Lahj with the total cost of USD 1,8 million financed by US humanitarian aid office.

The meeting touched upon boosting cooperation and coordination between the ministry and the organization in water and sanitation on 2021 and the organization's efforts for implementing other projects in field of water in accordance with its plan.

Minister al-Sharjabi confirmed significance of making accurate and suitable studies for investing the funding provided by donor organizations for increasing production of water fields in Aden through investing rainwater.

He also stressed significance of implementing water projects in the most needed areas and called the organization to expand its activities and implement projects in many provinces.
