The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Friday, with the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg, on the sidelines of his participation in the 21st session of the Regional Security Conference (Manama Dialogue).
They discussed the situations in Yemen and the UN-led efforts and the international community aimed at supporting stability and enhancing humanitarian work in various governorates.
Dr. Zindani affirmed the government's full support for the efforts of the UN and humanitarian organizations to carry out their tasks and offer assistance, appreciating the humanitarian role they play in alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
Mr. Grundberg updated Zindani on the UN's ongoing efforts aimed to advance the peace process and revive the comprehensive political process in Yemen.
He stated that the UN is committed to support all regional and international efforts aimed at easing the Yemeni people humanitarian suffering.
