Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubark met here on Monday with the Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Kang Yong.

Yemeni-Chinese bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two countries about issues of common interest in the international stages was key focus of the discussions.

Bin Mubark briefed Mr. Yong on the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena including practical steps taken to put Riyadh Agreement in place and the government return to the interim capital Aden.

The Foreign Minister highly praised the Chinese government's supportive stances in support Yemen, its legitimate government and UN-led peace process in Yemen.

The Chinese Ambassador reiterated his country's principled stance in support of Yemen and its leadership headed by President Hadi, Yemen's security, stability, unity and the efforts to re-establish peace and stability.
