The 33rd session of the Council of Arab Transport Ministers held Wednesday at the headquarters of Arab Science, Technology and Maritime Transport Academy (ASTMTA) in the Egyptian city of Alexandria.
The discussions presided over by the Deputy Premier, Acting Minister of Transport Dr. Salim al-Khanbashi, as the Republic of Yemen has assumed the rotating presidency of the Council of Arab Transport Minister.
Dr. al-Khanbashi delivered a keynote speech in which he called on Arab countries and Arab League to take firm stances to mount pressures upon Houthi militia to stop blocking the efforts aiming to handle the problem of Safer Oil Tanker in order to avert un affordable environmental, economic, commercial and navigation catastrophe in the Red Sea.
