Army repels Houthi attack, kills 23 militants

The army has killed 23 Houthis and injured others in an ambush as the militants sought to advance in the front of Nehm east of Sana'a governorate. The Yemeni army has been countering never-ending attacks by the maximalist theocratic militia despite a unilateral cessation of offensive attacks since April 9.

A source in the army's Media Center said the army today ambushed the Houthi fighters in Salab front in Nehm rendering them killed and wounded.

Arab Coalition airstrikes led to other casualties and the destruction of four military trucks in the same area where the militants were mobilizing for an attack.
