The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Vice President, Guha discuss UNRCC's efforts in Hodeida

Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh discussed Wednesday with the Head of the UN Redeployment Coordination Committee in Hodeida General Abhijeet Guha efforts of implementing Stockholm Agreement on Hodeida.
Vice President welcomed Guha, hoping him success in implementing his tasks of realizing peace and ending suffering of Yemeni people.
He pointed to President Hadi's directives to the government's team in the committee and other military units to facilitate jobs of the UN's committee for the purpose of implementing the agreement despite continuous Houthi breaches of the ceasefire and directing drones.
He confirmed necessity of taking clear position towards these breaches committed by Houthis for stopping failure of Hodeida agreement, praising efforts of the head and members of the UN Committee.
For his part, Guha pointed to a number of issue and topics associated with mechanisms of implementing the ceasefire and steps of implementing the agreement.
He confirmed exerting efforts for realizing security and peace in Hodeida.
