King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's Demining Project in Yemen, known as "MASAM" managed to remove 1,765 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and improvised explosive devices (IED) in the last week February 2026.

President of Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Thursday the delegation of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) headed by the president of the STC Maj. General Aidarous Anaqib.
President Hadi welcomed the delegation, applauding the efforts made by the Saudi Arabia leadership to achieve Riyadh Agreement, urging joining efforts and resources to achieve the desirable objectives of the Yemeni people in the south and entire Yemen.
President Hadi underscored the importance of moving ahead to implement Riyadh Agreement in full details to re-establish security and stability in the southern governorates and all over the country.
For his part general Anaqib expressed pleasure to meet President Haid; affirming his willingness to support the President's efforts and to work together under his leadership to translate the agreement into actions to realize the desired aims.
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabi Mohammed Sa'eed al-Jaber and Director of the Presidency Office Dr Abdullah al-Alimi were in presence.
