RIYADH-SABA
A source in the Arab Coalition backing Yemen's government has disdained the Houthi repeated claims of "victories" achieved through the militia's ballistic missile and drone attacks.
In a statement to Saba, the source said the militia use rumors to create a morale incentive for their fighters who fail to hold ground against the advancing Yemeni army troops and flee the frontlines.
"The Houthi militia manipulate the minds of their followers by (promoting) imagined victories, while the facts on the ground show consecutive losses on the part of the militia, e.g. thousands of fighters on a monthly basis," said the source.
