The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

A delegation from the Turkish Red Crescent Society (IFRC) arrived on Wednesday in Marib. Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr Abd-Rabbu Miftah met with the delegation.
Dr Miftah detailed the IFRC's delegation about the humanitarian situations and living conditions of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) and the hosting communities in the governorate of Marib.
Miftah cited the IDPs most pressing needs in the fields of health, education, water and sanitation.
