Planning Minister seeks more Kuwaiti support to Yemen

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Najeeb al-Awj discussed on Monday with Deputy Chief of the Board of Kuwaiti Red Crescent Association Anwar al-Hesawi support to Yemen.
Al-Hesawi pointed to the association's projects in Yemen, including installation of solar energy system to 250 houses in Socotra Archipelago and distributing 20 fishing boat for supporting fishermen in the province, as well as implementing relief projects.
On the same context, Minister of Planning discussed with the Chairman of the Board of the Kuwaiti Relief Association Jamal al-Nouri and representatives of charitable societies in Kuwait relief projects in Yemen.
They discussed Kuwaiti association expertise in other conflict domains and possible benefit from this expertise for supporting education and building transitional schools to displaced people in Yemen.
