The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Ministry of Electricity receives equipments of Aden Electricity Station

Ministry of Electricity and Energy received on Tuesday the turbines and equipments of Aden Electricity Plant-first phase.
Minister of Electricity and Energy Eng. Mohammed al-Anani told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the project's total capacity is 264MGW, in its first phase, it is the second largest power plant in the country.
He added that the project will provide the governorates of Aden, Lahj and Abyan with power.
Aden Electricity Station Project is funded by the government, supervised by Petromasila Company.
