Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik advised concerting efforts to counter Houthi rebels atrocities in Hajjah governorate.
"National military troops, local resistance fighters and tribesmen need to jointly go battling the militiamen and countering their control", he said.
His statement came as he met on Thursday with Governor of Hajjah Maj. General Abdulkareem Assoneini.
Assoneini reported to Ma'een about the situations in Hajjah where the militiamen have imposed oppressive siege upon the populations of Kasher and Hajjour regions, targeting them with different weapons.
The Prime Minister stated that the government ordered by President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi will provide tribesmen of Hajjour and Kasher with necessary support, urgent relief aids to the governorate's population, pay IDPs salaries and establish field hospital to offer the wounded civilians medical care.
