Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammed Al-Hudrami met Sunday with Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Dedoshken.
Yemeni-Russian bilateral relations and cooperation was a central focus of Al-Hudrami's conversations with Dedoshken.
Discussions also touched upon outcomes of peace consultations in Sweden.
Al-Hudrami stated that it is important to put the agreements the Stockholm's consultations produced in place and it is very necessary to get the rebels carry out them.
He stated that the government is very keen to keep on constructively engaging in the UN-led efforts to help allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering as a result of Houthi militia's coup.
The deputy Foreign Minister underscored the importance of supporting the UN envoy's good offices to achieve the desired peace based on the GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council resolution 2216.
