Polio immunization campaign launched in Taiz, Shabwa

The second round of the national campaign for Immunization against Polio targeting children under the age of five was launched today in Taiz province.
The Director of the branch office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, Dr. Abdul Rahim al-Samee said that the house-to-house campaign will continue for three days and target more than 335 thousand children.
In the province of Shabwa, the Secretary General of the Local Council Abd Rabo Hashla and Deputy Governor Abdul-Qawi Lamroq, launched a similar campaign which aims to vaccinate 121 thousand children in the province.
