Kuwaiti Fund signs Grant Agreement Worth $1.2 million for displaced persons in Yemen

The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Governor of Jawf Amin al-Akimi launched on Wednesday in Khab and Sha'af District the project of distributing shelters in the province provided by King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Activities.

Al-Akimi praised efforts of the center for supporting and financing relief activities in Jawf, calling local and international organizations to support such activities for covering need of people of aid and shelters.
