Yemen's Ambassador to Moscow Ahmad al-Wahishi discussed with the Head of the Committee of International Affairs at the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Party, the Member of Duma on Wednesday developments in liberating Hodeida from Houthis.
Al-Wahishi confirmed that the legal government exerts all efforts for realizing peace in Yemen and ending Houthi militia's coup, which caused serial of ordeals and suffering faced by Yemeni people, pointing out that the peace efforts based on the three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
For his part, the Russian official confirmed continuous support of Russia and its active role within the UN efforts for realizing peace.
