The Permanent Committee for Arab Media began on Monday its regular session, at the Arab League's headquarters, with the participation of Yemen's Information Ministry undersecretaries Mohammed Qayzan and Saleh Al-Humaidi.
The session discussed a media campaign prepared between the Palestinian media and the rest of the Arab media to counter the unilateral US recognition of al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Israeli occupation state.
The campaign is set to raise awareness about the importance of al-Quds cause and to support the diplomatic move to uncover the Israeli occupants' abuses in the Palestinian lands.
The meeting reviewed the Media Charter of Honor regarding this matter, the role of Arab media in countering terrorism, the outline of the Arab media programs on Sustainable Development 2030, and other issues.
