The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

The World Food Program has launched a training course for 20 Education officials from three southern provinces in the implementation of school feeding projects.
The Education officials who started the course in the temporary capital Aden on Sunday are from Aden, Lahj and Shabwa provinces where the WFP is providing aid to 53,960 school boys and girls to contribute to their retention in schools and reduce dropouts.
This is a pilot project that the WFP is implementing before deciding whether to expand the project to other Yemeni provinces.
