President Hadi receives Ministers of Culture, Public Works

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received Wednesday Minister of Culture Marwan Damaj and Minister of Public Works and Highways Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik. The two ministers are tasked with supervising over Yemen participation in Dubai Expo 2020.

Damaj and Ma'een reported to the President about the meetings they held with the Emirati officials in charge of organizing the Exhibition.

Minister of Culture informed the President about the Ministry's Plan aimed to publish 100 books by Yemeni authors in different domains.

Damaj also reported to the President about the government's efforts aimed to document the significant relics which have been missed. He provided preliminary report about the missing historical objects. The report will be put forward to the UNESCO and the UN concerned agencies.

For his part, Minister of Public Works and Highways detailed the President about roads maintenance projects in the interim capital Aden which approved by the World Bank (WB) within the Project of Integrated Urban Cities Services. The project is funded by the WB and roads' portion amounted $355 million.

President Hadi ordered immediate repairing of a number of sub-streets in Aden, mainly in Al-Mansoura and Sheikh Othman districts.
