MoPIC, UN office discuss humanitarian response priorities

The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) and the United Nations office in the temporary capital Aden have discussed the priorities of humanitarian response plan for the year 2018.
The discussion involved MoPIC undersecretary Nazar Ba-Soheib and the directors of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the representative of the UN office, Save the Children and CAIRE organization offices in Aden.
They discussed mobilizing and coordinating effective humanitarian action to respond to the humanitarian needs in the country.
Ba-Soheib referred to water and health as the sectors where assistance is most needed.
He renewed MoPIC's commitment to provide the necessary facilitations to the different aid organizations to implement their aid programs.
