Human Rights Minister, EU Delegation Discuss Cooperation on Rights and Institutional Reform
Minister of Human Rights Mishal Omar met today in the temporary capital Aden with a delegation from the European Union mission to Yemen, headed by Patrick Simonet, to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation in the field of human rights, institutional reform, and the protection of public freedoms.

Vice President praises troops' sacrifices

Vice President Lt Gen. Ali Mohssen Saleh deeply appreciated great deal of sacrifices have been made by heroes of armed forces in different front-line battles.

General Mohssen held a meeting Friday with Chief of Staff Maj. General Tahir Al-Oqaili and governor of Marib Maj. General Sultan Al-Aradah.

The meeting devoted to review coordination and cooperation between Chief of Staffs Command and local authority in Marib governorate.

The meeting also touched upon victories have been gained by the government's brave troops in Nehm front-line battles of Sana'a governorate and different fronts around the country.

The Vice President gave directives to put premeditated plans in place, urging well coordination between command of Chef of Staffs and Marib local administration as well as establishing Joint Operations Unit between military and security services in Marib in order to help implementing military and security plans and missions.

The chief of staff present a report on his participation in the gathering of Foreign Ministers and Chiefs of Staff of Saudi-led coalition member states that aims to restore legality in Yemen.

Governor of Marib also reported about situations and latest developments in Marib and underway efforts aimed to develop the governorate, improve services, infrastructure and establish security and stability.
