Minister of Endowments Dr. Ahmed Atiya has called for renouncing hatred, extremism and abidance by the teachings of Islam.
In a conference on "The role of Fatwa in Stabilization of Communities" in Cairo, Atiya delivered a speech in which he said that "Islam laid the foundations for coexistence between nations and principles for disagreement that helped Islam proceed in its trajectory along the past centuries."
These foundations portrayed Islam all this period in its true moderate form, free from extremism and terrorism.
