His Excellency Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today, Tuesday, the delegation of the European Parliament headed by the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Parliament, David McAllister.

His Excellency explained the vision of the PLC and the government about the fruitful work with the international community to put an end of the terrorist threats including re-define the Houthi Group as a permanent threat to the regional and international security.

He argued that any response by the Iranian regime to engage in de-escalation and negotiations on its nuclear program is nothing but deceptive tactics to maintain its resources of power and it will come back to its hostile policy.

The Chairman of the PLC restated that the Yemeni scene is the real test of the Iranian regime's intentions. He affirmed that Houthi terrorist threat won't be eliminated except for it suffers a strategic defeat that stripes the militias of their sources of power : money, land and weapons.
