The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

Prime Minister Ahmed bin Daghrhas issued directives to the competent authorities in the government to provide urgent support to Taiz in all fields so that the city can restore its normal pre-war life.
In a meeting with Taiz Deputy Governor ArefJamel in Al-Maasheeq Palace in Aden on Friday, bin-Daghr called on all stakeholders in the city to further unite in countering the Saleh-Houthi militias.
He confirmed the interest of the political leadership represented by President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi in supplying Taiz with the basic services, paying out the largely overdue salaries to public servicemen and completing the liberation of the city from the coup militias.
