The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

VP affirms gov't interest in completing Taiz restoration

Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saeleh has affirmed the government's interest in restoring the rest of Taiz and driving out the Saleh-Houthi militias that have been killing children and women and laying a siege around the war-afflicted city for years.
The Vice President has shown the interest in a meeting with Hamoud al-Mikhlafi and Brig. Adnan Zureiq the leader of the popular resistance and the chief of operations of Taiz Military Axis respectively.
"Taiz, which has been enduring shelling and siege for two years, still exhibits its republican character, steadfastness and inclination to the side of civil life, state rule and peace," he said.
